Group Consulting
and Speaking Events

I regularly speak to creative, cultural and business groups about the essentials of digital marketing and the basics of content writing and promotion. As one of Assets for Artists’ program trainers, I give presentations on digital marketing best practices to grant-funded artists from across New England. I have offered talks and workshops to artists funded through the Boston Foundation’s Live Arts grant, small businesses in the Berkshires via funding from 1Berkshire, and members of Rhode Island’s What Cheer Writers Club, and the Newton Arts Association, among others. In October 2025, I’ll be offering a two-part marketing workshop at the Delaware Arts Summit.

Consulting for Artists

As an artist, I’m honored to merge my marketing expertise with my creative perspective. I work with artists and creatives who want to sharpen their digital marketing strategy, build a following online, launch new projects, and more. I’ve been lucky to work with poet laureates, architects, writers, quilters…so many amazing creative people.

In the past, I have provided subsidized consulting for artists through grant funding from Assets for Artists, the North Adams Artist Impact Coalition, and the National Endowment for the Arts. Depending on your location, I can sometimes offer pro bono consulting through various grant programs.

Adams Theater Communications

I’m proud to be working as the Adams Theater’s director of communications as it supports new, authentic voices and projects and helps further revitalization efforts in Adams, Mass. The theater is an inspiring endeavor, seeking to build community and make new spaces for all kinds of curated cultural events.

Feature Writing

For the past 15 years, I’ve written regular feature stories for local and national publications, including Oprah Daily, Modern Farmer, The B, and Williams Magazine. I often cover Berkshire County food, farms, and their various intersections. From 2015-2022, I wrote a monthly Berkshire Eagle column that focused on using local ingredients.

Artists at Work North Adams Cohort, 2024-25

I was awarded a salary grant from Artists at Work, a national organization in the spirit of the WPA that is designed to support artists and their communities through artistic civic engagement. This time is split between my own artistic practice and work with a community organization. To date, AAW has provided 70 artists and culture workers across 11 states with a salary and health benefits, leveraging their power and creativity in partnership with over 80 cultural and community organizations throughout the nation. I was thrilled to be part of this program, and thrilled to be able to make a local impact.

Creative Support
for Great Sky Media

GSM is an Emmy-nominated video production studio that creates work for high-profile clients across New England. As GSM’s dedicated communications consultant, I work on narrative and quality control for video projects, and help with other aspects of pre-production.
